Dr. Myles’s approach to psychiatric treatment includes a thorough understanding of a patient beyond a constellation of symptoms. She believes that a nuanced understanding of a person’s life, including work, relationships, and physical health, is essential to successful treatment. She has a background in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and is happy to provide psychotherapy, medication management, or both, depending on individual needs. Dr. Myles aims to provide a comfortable, non-judgmental, and collaborative space to work toward a patient’s goals. She sees patients from late adolescence through adulthood.
Dr. Myles completed her general psychiatric training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she served as Chief Resident. She has additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and completed a three-year program through the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia, where she is currently an active member. She has a special interest in college mental health and women’s mental health. She is involved in research regarding women’s mental health and treatment preferences.
